The room had a nice balcony. You can relax at Pivoteka Zizkoff, located nearby. No complaints whatsoever, the venue met requirements.

Wonderful family-run hotel two tram stops (5 minutes) from the central railway station with polite, friendly, helpful staff. Our room was enormous, comfortable and very quiet. The buffet breakfast was very generous and included some delicious local cakes. Overall it was excellent value for money and I can highly recommend it!
No wi-fi internet in the rooms - only in the lobby.

Very good! We had a pleasant stay at Columbo's!! The staff was awesome, the breakfast was not much, but it was tasty. The location was good enough, because the hotel provided us each a transportation pass for bus and metro with 50% discount. So for 12euros 2 persons travelled for free for 3 3 whole days. But the most wonderful experience was, without any doubt, THE BED!! We really loved the ultra-soft mattress and the fluffy pillows ... We dreamt away peaceful every night ... We felt at home right away, not wanting to leave the hotel at the end of our holiday !!

Friendly personnel, not far from center and transport stations(railway, bus). Good place just to sleep and relax after long walkings in Prague.

If you don't mind to stay not in the center but just 3 stops by tram (5 min), this is the perfect place. Nice and big rooms, good breakfast, very quiet. The staff is very helpful and the area is full of pubs and restaurants much more cheap than in the center.

Our room was really big and clean. The furnitures was new. Good breakfast. The owner was very kind and supplied us with all the info we needed about our staying. Garage available. The hotel is 3 minutes walk from the tram stop to the center of Prague. The metro, too, is quite close.

Short tram ride to center of historic city, very friendly and helpful owners, nice decor, comfortable bed, sweet music of soft bell towers just the right distance away, quiet.
No elevator

Staff very helpful, was good value and close to the city .. Easy walk in 10 minutes.... also very near the tram stop only 3 minutes walk .... breakfast was more than sufficient tasty eggs, toast and yoghurts!, coffee could be better perhaps :-) ...but this is minor detail against what was indeed a very nice stay and experience in Prague..
None at all .. very happy ...

Hotel man was very kind and helpful. He made us really feel like home and gave us good advices about traveling in the city. The room was nice, clean, big and offered us all that we needed. Very close to tram stop that brought us in the city centre in less than 10 minutes.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. The location was ideal for a city break as it was easy to get into the old town while being in a quieter area with its own restaurants, shops, internet cafes etc.
The only negative thing I can think of is the temperature of the room at night which we found very warm. But I imagine that if we had asked for a sheet or a fan the staff would have been helpful.

Absolutely darling little hotel! Rooms were clean and cute, with nice decoration (a neat old globe and model sailboat), beds were very comfortable. Staff was extremely friendly. It's a 15-minute uphill walk from the main train station, but a 10-minute downhill walk back to the train station, so it's very easy to get back to a train. It is in a more "normal" non-touristy city neighborhood near some nice parks. Breakfast is very basic but good - toast, hard-boiled eggs, juices, cold cuts (meat & cheese), some pastries. Incredible value staying in this hotel at its current rates!
It has wireless internet, but not a "business center" where you can use the computer (however, internet cafe is 2-minute walk away). It's on the opposite side of the river from the castle, etc., but not a problem if you don't mind walking or hopping on the tram/bus. It's a great chance to see a different part of a beautiful city.

It was not exactly at the city center but you can walk to the center in max. 20 minutes. After the check-in process, I walk around whole of the day and returned to the hotel to just sleep. I mean, I did not need any extra service from the hotel staff. However, it is much more cheaper than most of the other hotels around and I think it has everything that other hotels have: it was clean, the staff was thrustworthy, and the breakfast was very delicious!
If you want to drink (just!) water, you have to pay for it!.. I also suggest you to learn the exact location of the hotel if this is first time you will be in Praha. Indeed, you may get lost after you get off the bus!...

Staff were very helpful; rooms are clean and breakfast was nice; location is a bit far out of the centre, but well connected via tram (also to the airport)
When I first arrived at the hotel, nobody was there - staff are not always 100% available, as it's family-run; wireless Internet was also a bit wonky (although the owner tried hard to improve the experience) and doesn't reach every room

Excellent value for money with basic clean and comfortable room.Adequate continental breakfast. Good transport facilities to city center. Pleasant owner.
Its a minor detail but our room was on the top floor. Not adequate for customers with old age or physical disabilities.

Staff / owners were very helpful and very friendly. The room was very clean and well-equipped. Very efficient. Good breakfast.
While I liked the location (somewhat away from the main tourist area), it might be a drawback for some people.
